How it works

The entire calculation runs in your browser. Your salary and every other value you enter stay on your device — nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored and nobody else can see it. The site uses no cookies and no tracking scripts.

Where the numbers come from

The model uses the contribution rates, tax brackets, subsistence minimum and average wage valid for the given year. The calculation was verified against a reference model with more than thirty thousand automated comparisons to rule out formula errors.

What the calculation does not cover

• Uneven income during the year, bonuses and thirteenth salaries
• Unworked months, maternity or parental leave
• Working for several employers at the same time
• The tax-free allowance for a spouse
• Employees with disabilities and contribution relief schemes
